Reverend Dr. William Flippin has been the presenter for our Churchwide Conference for the past three years, and each time he has been outstanding. His ability to bring a new and fresh perspective to ministry is the reason why this conference grows in number. This year’s topic “Visionary Leadership: A Church on the Cutting Edge” provided challenges to our leadership. Not only did he identify and address inherent issues that most churches face but he provided solutions with a strong biblical foundation. Dr. Flippin is the consummate presenter and preacher. He is knowledgeable, personable, approachable and his love for God and God’s people is evident in all that he does. We are happy to have him present to our congregation again next year.

To often we do not express to people who have meant much in our lives, so I today want to let you know that indeed I am grateful for the example in ministry that you have been for me. I often think of the "old" days and how God moved and impacted my life as I went through seminary, He truly showed Himself to be faithful just as you said He would. You encouraged me and challenge me to do my best and for that I am grateful.

blessed I am to have partaken in the worship service at
our Bethlehem Baptist Church this past weekend.
Pastor. Flippin was our guest preacher and he was
completely used by God to bring forth a mighty, life
transforming Word from God. I was truly
engulfed by the power and the presence
of the Holy Spirit. God has blessed Rev.
Flippin with mighty gifts; yes, gifts of preaching and

I met Dr. William
Flippin, Sr. in 1998 when a pastor, that was tacking a group to the
Holyland, called to ask if Dr. Flippin could join us. I said yes and God did the rest. We have taken 4 groups to the Holyland and Motherland. This year we became partners in JP Travel Ministers.

Dr. Flippin puts new meaning to the word. For the past 5 years I have been very sick, there have been times when the pain was so bad I could almost have ask God to take me home. It would be at these times that Dr. Flippin would call to check on me, he always knew the right thing to say and make me laugh. Then a year and a half ago he call to ask if it wasn't time for us to go back to the Holyland ..I said yes ( but at that time my back was so bad I could hardly walk). We went to the Holyland and took 54 people and 21 of them were pastors. I believe it was the best trip to Israel I ever was on.

I think what I am trying to say, is that he has tried to be there for me bout spiritually and fiscally. He is the type of friend you can call day or night and he will be there for you. |
